Matt maintains an active pro bono practice, which has included various immigration and criminal matters. He recently secured a grant of Special Immigrant Juvenile Status for a family seeking asylum from El Salvador.

Matt is a litigation generalist. He has substantial experience in complex commercial litigation, antitrust, products liability, mass torts, and environmental law. Prior to joining the firm, Matt was an associate at Crowell & Moring LLP.

Matt received his J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law. While in law school, Matt served as a teaching assistant, worked as an extern for the Oakland City Attorney’s Office, and volunteered with the California Asylum Representation Clinic and San Francisco VA Medical Center.
