A New York State Judge heard dueling arguments to disqualify DLA Piper LLP and Kasowitz Benson Torres & Friedman LLP from either side of a fight between InterActiveCorp and Georgetown Co. DLA Piper, representing the Georgetown plaintiffs, and Kasowitz, as attorneys for IAC, are facing separate disqualifying drives over allegations that prior representations have created conflicts of interest.
