Public Interest Commitment

Will maintains a robust public interest and pro bono practice that includes representing indigent defendants at sentencing, advising clients at the Eastern District of New York’s Pro Se Legal Assistance Project, and being appointed Special Assistant District Attorney for Nassau County, New York in connection with criminal appeals.  Will received the Legal Aid Society’s Pro Bono Publico Award for helping clients seal decades-old criminal records.

William H. LaGrange

Will is a litigation generalist with substantial experience in complex commercial litigation, white-collar defense and investigations, and alternative dispute resolution.  Will brings his problem-solving and straight-to-the-point approach to clients ranging from the world’s largest investment banks to individual indigent defendants.  His matters have spanned billion-dollar international criminal bribery investigations, lending discrimination, high-frequency trading violations, employment practices litigation, breach of contract, including in the pharmaceutical, real estate, art, and entertainment fields, and more.

 

Prior to joining the firm, Will was a litigation associate at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP and graduated from Duke University School of Law.
